I was liking it more before I screw the UVs and with more noise though, more of a compositional exercise... phongs and a few blends, no bump mapping.

Testing SSS rubber preset for Maxigo material system.
Ignore the model. It's something I did from a cylinder in 5 secs :)

You can do a better tire model in 5 sec, than I in 30 min :cry:

Suv, that looks so nice... would you mind to share this material?
I tried realistic looking tyre rubber material a while ago, but it never came to my mind to use SSS with it.

If I'd need to model a "real" thing - something nice and neat, then it would also take me a lot longer. It usually takes no time if the outcome doesn't matter.
