lol! Do you remember this scene from the "Yafaray activity" forum? That was quite some time ago!Polinalkrimizei wrote:Great render, and thanks for kicking my ass for being lazy, I never even tried that in blendigo...
It is based on the image I'm attaching from an old Vray tutorial
(the vray image is the second one), but I modeled the scene from scratch for the activity. If anyone's interested here's the link to the .blend:

It's great to see pals from the old days around

cheers, and thanks for commenting.

Re: Simple Renderings Thread
Can I ask how you faked it? Looks realistic, except maybe for the upper surface of the liquid. Also I would probably tilt that surface to make it horizontal, unless it's the camera being rotated and not the bottle.

Re: Simple Renderings Thread
If you don't go too much into detail you could just use a diffuse transmitter (talking about faking)
I like your beer, how did you do the droplets?

Re: Simple Renderings Thread
I'd just model a foam like shape around the edges and map on an alpha texture or something. A diffuse transmitter blend could help make it less solid looking.
This is looking very impressive!
