Hello all!

Just came across Indigo a few days ago. WOW! Great renderer :)

Here's my first render (apart from the excellent Blender/Indogo tutorial)

Image

It's at 1706 mutations per pixel and took about 45 hours (yeah, I know...) on my P4 2.0Ghz 512 MB RDRAM machine. The reason I left it so long was to see if more noise would disappear, but it didn't. :) Is that because it's such a complex thick transparent object?

Anyways, hope you like.

Heya bq! The rendering looks good, nice colorplay. ;o)

Have you tried to set the max_num_consec_rejections to 100?
If not, then you can do this in the .xml or .ini file. It'll help
to get rid of the noise a bit.

btw. welcome aboard! :D ;)

take care

:D Couldn't really be anything else!

Thanks for the tip! The 'max_num_consec_rejections' was set to 1000. So does a lower number improve the quality? Couldn't find any info on this parameter (I understand the docs are a bit young yet), and I can't fathom out it's menaing.
