The candle looks a little odd to me. The ridges on the bottom and the top look a little off. It kind of looks like you took a cylinder in blender, moved the vertices up and down at the top and then stuck a subsurf on it. Those triangles on the ends of the cylinder combined with the subsurf are making those ridges. I would try adding one ring of vertices on the ends so that the triangles are all in one plane and don't create weird spots in the mesh.

Well if this isn't blender and I'm completely off, just ignore this completely. Overall I think this looks pretty cool, especially those leaves.

is it reflectance, normals, or just not enough polys on the candle? i dunno, something about it just isn't right.
