Post by Marcofly » Sat Aug 25, 2007 11:02 pm

testing the Cindigo exporter.. 2 hours rendering..
The exit portal speed is really impressive! The phong ior of the chairs is 1.4.. i have to lower it a bit.
i love the light diffusion of Indigo!

it's simply a mesh, that covers the hole.
What's so hard in understanding it -.-
a mesh that forces light going through it in the normals direction.

@ortega: it's simply a plane, as Kram says..

<mesh>
<!--exit-->
<name>stanza1</name>
<normal_smoothing>false</normal_smoothing>
<external>
<path>stanza1.obj</path>
</external>
</mesh>
.....
<exit_portal>
<!--exit-->
<scale>1</scale>
<pos>0 -3.886 91.323</pos>
<rotation>
<matrix>1 0 0 0 0 -1 0 1 0</matrix>
</rotation>
<mesh_name>stanza1</mesh_name>
</exit_portal>

cool scene! lovin the bauhaus chairs (or le corbusier? cant remember which now, fuck).
it needs more detail where the concrete wall meets the other wall and the ceiling, right now it just ends and that throws off the appearance of reality. some peeling or patched up paint would look cool on the walls and ceiling. the door looks very out of place IMO, fit more for a cookie cutter suburban model home than this.
also would love to see an HDR version of this, right now your highlights are blown way out.
