should be lights oon the roof, even if they not on, add to the realism, very nice curtains. like the floor. the roof needs some detailing. some murals or an inset perhaps somehting to set it apart, its a bit drab atm

keep it up

This is nice. I particularly like the curtains. But it's still a bit bare. This cries out for a marble fireplace and some moulded plinths and stucco ornaments on the ceiling. Also, why not make the curtains touch the ground, with nice folds. You can do that quite easily with a Blender softbody (if you're using Blender of course).

Thanks for suggestions. I just started to model it, so it comes much more details, i think. Some pin-up lamps are on the way ;)
delta Tthe floor is an plane with wood texture. and the curtains have just a blended material with diffuse white and diffuse transparent white half to half. Curtains model is an extruded curve.

Well.....it depends what you want to achieve. More modern, or more traditional. The picture so far does not give us much direction as to where you're headed with it.

the scene doesnt look very modern to me, looks a bit like 1960's, although really in the scene there is nothing that you could use to date it. The chairs look kind of old fashioned though.

But headroom is sort of right, there should be more focus on something or the other in the room, as opposed to just a still shot of the room. Put in a nice architectural design or something
