(edited with a less ridiculously small image)

ridiculously small, blurry and dark update.

@StompinTom : aaaah, those were the times. I remember, we used to live in a shoe box back then. And we were happy that way. We didn't have to bother about supersampling and such.

Outstanding Dr ! Some mats are too reflective tho, the "moulin" wood and maybe the legs of you character as well, they lack some paint scratches on the tibia and knees :twisted:

Can you make something bad?
Just to see, what a good artist you really are!

Hey, why not ? Here is my first ever render, all blender internal.
At the time I was working as an arch viz, for a studio making mainly rural barns.

@Deus : God it is not. I lost hairs and hours of sleep to complete all this so far.
@all : big thanks !

for beeing your FIRST render, you already did great work :shock:

I mean: nothing to the things, you do now (not entirely 'cause of your own improvment, but also 'cause of blender improvements, I guess..), but it still looks kinda good ;)

Just another viewpoint.
I have to change the hdri map for those test renders, because that one is quite dark (tonemapping doesn't do any good). Also I seem to abuse of dof effect.
Anyway, I switch back to modelling for the next.
