Fryrender balls

Post by manitwo » Wed Aug 30, 2006 9:12 pm

I've seen this picture from the "new" renderer fryrender and decided to remodel that scene and try to render it with indigo.

Thats the first test:

Indigo without postwork:

Goal(fryrender):

I know, the direction of the EXR and the position of the camera isn't right.
Also the DOF is too less and of course the material of the ground plane needs
tuning but hey, its the first test :lol:
Btw, whats the weird black thing in the reflection of the balls?

If somebody is interested in i could share the scene. :wink:

Nice test :)
The Indigo scene almost like The fryrender scene, except DOF and satured reflections on the grnd. But I think it could be reprepared.
I heard that fryrender beta costs 500$
And .... Could you share your scene in the blend format?

Unfortunatly not. But i can share the c4d file and a .obj file exported from cinema (the exporter is not the best :cry: ).
Click me

Edit: To use the XML files provided in the zip to render that scene you have to remove the background element in fryrender_balls.xml.
