Really nice. How exactly did you model the steps? And what exr are you using here?

The steps are mapped with alpha map environement for the holes and .exr is a simple sunny day!

Actually never used alpha maps. Think you could post your map? Looks very convincing...

Ok, but how do you use it? And with which exporter? Is this a blend material?

I use BlenderIndigo (by Zuegs) and material is blend material.
Here the code:

Code: Select all

<material>
		<name>lamierino</name>
		<blend>
			<a_name>acciaio</a_name>
			<b_name>null</b_name>
			<blend_factor>0.5</blend_factor>
			<blend_map>
				<path>testscenes\foratura.jpg</path>
				<uv_set>uv</uv_set>
				<exponent>1.000000</exponent>
				<a>0</a>
				<b>1</b>
				<c>0</c>
			</blend_map>
		</blend>
	</material>

good start 8bstudio!
your stairs need a few struttings (dont know if this is the right word).
The stair construction, as it is now, would succumb.
and your glass walls look very thin.
btw: nice to see your old wine bottle again :P

I like the render but I second manitwo's criticism.

The wine bottle and the glass look out of place there and instantly give the image away as a render... I would get rid of them. If you really like them. Put them into the dining room on a table, but I wouldn't even do that.

Thanks for yours comments!
Strange because stair is mathematic calculed: is piercing plate thin 5mm... I'll control that again! Glass is 10mm. :roll: :roll:
This image is for client who wants choose color of floor and light.
Next image shall with table! :D :D
