Cool robbery

Post by DaveC » Tue Mar 13, 2007 12:20 am

I know it's not exactly winter anymore but, I was looking through some christmas cards and I found this scene with a snowman being robbed by another snowman. And I thought to myself, "That'd be fun to model!". So, here it is so far...

I think that red glow is due to the scaling and noise reduction in photoshop. I'll post a finished render in my gallery (full size) when it's done.

Yeah, loved that cartoon! (I also liked the one where the rabbit was robbing a snow couple of their carrot noses  ) Speaking of carrot noses, I'd say (as my lone crit) that their noses should be a bit different from each other. (They bend the same way, now.) Otherwise, cool! (or hot, depending on whose side you're on... :? )

Ok. It's cleaned up quite nicely :D

I've added the full size render to my gallery.

Thanks for all the comments! I've taken on board the criticism about the noses. I will give the victim a brand new nose. I also want to add some random-ish lumps of snow and some other small, not too distracting, details in the background.

i maybe would make it a little bit brighter or increase the contrast (its a bit dark and grey for snow now).
