amazing art!
absolutely agree with Polinalkrimizei, would love to have #4 printed right away!
how did you manage to create that smoke/fluid scattered shape in c4d?
best regards
Markus

Re: kklors render stuff
Thanks so much people! I'll be totally in to do some prints during 2014, no idea how many, but I promise to myself I will.
@Mor4us: Man, in this particular case it was generated in a very pedestrian way. It was an experiment getting point clouds inside C4D with baked colors via a Python script a friend helped me with. But now having made the experience, don't do it this way haha.
In the end I ended up doing pretty much the same thing with thick geo hair, some turbulence and emitting particles from it, which was way more convenient.

Re: kklors render stuff
Finally had a bit time to do a bigger scene again.
Edit: Updated with blue alternate version.

Re: kklors render stuff
I like the blue version! How did you create this lens flare around these lights, and how are they modeled??
24 hours isn't enough

Re: kklors render stuff
Was that blue version done simply by tweaking the light layers?
Re: kklors render stuff
@lape: Thank you! The flares come from Aperture Diffraction and fog surrounding the lights. The lights themselves are very simple cylinders, because one couldn't see their shape anyway.
@Oscar J: Yep light layers indeed, Also different post.
Here's a new random something.

Looks like a melted logic board - excellent stuff.

I get this discussion quite late but... I bought a videoprojector instead of a TV, so that each time I want to watch TV programs, I think twice about spending lamp lifetime for stupid shows. At the end, I only watch good moviesfused wrote:It's so bad. Used to not even have a TV but my SO insisted on one... And while I mostly use it to view stereo 3D images rendered in Indigo she actually watches some of the really really bad stuff. ಠ_ಠkklors wrote:You should know it too though, german TV became unbearably stupid anyway. What the heck is wrong with the people?
Great decision to not watch TV anymore and do something useful with your time. This way we all get something nice (your renders ).
