Hi.
First excuses to the forum. Again the probe_test is a wrong version (there's no vacuum inside the gold).
No more silly questions then, seriously, sorry. The "turns around" about a meaning of precedence... are all wrong.

Nonetheless, is necessary a effective cut out to the shape (the clouds volume removes the atmosphere medium, this was the problem (yes, no, yes,...) from under the volume last day).

quick(3600m).jpg
The landscape is still nothing but a brutal fbm test (60x60 km).
Excuses again for the waste of time.

Can't give up. No words. 9 h per image (4 threads).
First studio setup  (not very propper). Time to materials, textures, ...

Suggestions are wellcome (is a school for us).
See you in a month (even in the oblivion) :) .

Thanks for the kind words Ono.
The base is workable. Still a little noise but converges in a decent time.
At 6 hours; indigo's output (linear SS 2) and a denoise raw solution (denoise for darktable don't work well over png format).
The bump is from databe (ISL scratched metal). Now to some complexity; good for the first time and for four days of approach. :)

The scene above is a real beauty but also eats samples for breakfast and takes ages to clear up..... seems like you rendered it for days -.-'
...from breakfast to dinner...

Done! 2h40min (1800 s/p).
All the problems of noise and "wicked" fireflies at the moment was basically a misunderstanding of the topologic rules necessaries to export from houdini...
Denoise works well (simply off !! and so on... rookie things). Now others tools take part in the process (rawtherapee ?? ... all linux ...).
:) . It's a total pseudo-physic thingy...

So many thanks Fenerolina (this "wood's works", congrat).
After a deep (so quick) analysis of the solitary IRC man (couldn't pay for this, you know... ) simply shines.
A great list of changes. Still the same beauty thingy (90 min 1520 s/p). Atmosphere and earth will rest for this study.
The three basic indigo's output. Linear PP AD, exr and exr raw without AD and no developtment. All shines and are workable.
Diamonds_and golds_at butane's flame light.jpg
Actually is physic (not pseudo any more, complex to explain).
The pigs file is a base atm; more interesant will be to share blender files when the scenes are compleated. Time...
Is a perfect excuse for us to acquire espectral data (and to learn some physics and even quimics concepts...) .

And to start; a note of humor:
Somebody is outdated enough to remember this one?
Matt_"the traveller".jpg
From Fragle Rock to the "human's world". Someone remember how this traveller describes this world for his nephew maybe?
Wrote delirants postals whit all the "discovers" to Fragel Rock.
Seems the same case for us !! The way that the information of this world (CG) is interpreted is usually wrong and is usually very funny. Take it in caution and take it with a smile (please).
Thanks.

PD: seems that the pigs was forgotten... a version with an extra (poor) postprocess and the pigs.

1600 s/p 3h35min.
Must learn some optics concepts... the cam sets... are... quite a disorder...
Will test over 2 mm film (for this).

Substituted with 10 h (5K s/p).

Would love to see that natural flower more closely (the top view)
I can render it if you want.

Hi. Here goes.
Traced aperture; maybe needs PP AD.
Same set up boths, only a cam movement and maybe the sun position...

The first of the serie will be a very simple composition and the next step is the "quasi" finished. (2h of process; and from now on no more references of time and speed are needed: 3.8.... this is.)

Nice!
I tried aperture d. and crashed Indigo (too much ram) so here's the here's the last autosaved render.

With this we stop for a days/weeks.
The base scene is from july. Will cook a better one to test three aspects in a serie (altitudes (ozone), turbidities, and sun positions).
turbidities(1_4).jpg
Test 12 revisited. 10 min + 32 "washed" fireflies. SS 7.
In hope than it's because the old meshes ...

Another revision; better; 1h +17 "washed" fireflies. SS2
