Good call, great piece of software IMO :)

Where did you get that info? Somehow I don't see people using it that often.

Yes Oscar, very cool.
The info is yours, I guess. I don´t remember who wrote a giving thanks to you for the info and I cathed it.
Thanks again Oscar.

Film effex (Kodak Ultra Color 400UC) + a bit of Dfine (good denoiser). Then downsized to 3000 px of width. And of course very much processed, but not perfect. I´m going to print big formats and I don´t have so much recurses.

A simple question, which is the minimum pixels per inch for printings?
I know that the best is 300, but how many can I "force" it?
Tnaks in advanced.

Looks good!

150 is also OK, certainly for bigger prints. What size are you going to print it on?

Thanks Oscar.
The printing size will be around 80 cm. Maybe six or eight prints.

What do you think about the grain that offer Nik Collection?
I think that it can camuflate a little bit the render noise and maybe reduce the time of process ... (or go to bigger formats). This desert wip example is resized from 6000 px, 8 hours of process.

And maybe I will be able to process this exercise with V4 and GPU. In this way I lost the possibility of the ambient (SSS), but Indigo do it in a rush!

Will see ...

The last one is a great render!

Personally I prefer smaller or noisier renders with more atmosphere, but I can definitely see that Indigo 4 can be practical. Hopefully we will have SSS on GPU soon? :P

So many thanks Oscar.
With this two exercises about the Troncotrón and the Ciclopié (deadline 8 of January) I will conquer the school of art!
--------(Half a joke).

I agree! (all my workaround...) :)
Glad to hear this info about SSS.
Maybe some day Indigo is considered for landscaping. I´m in the try! ...

Finally four printings of 60 cm and 200 ppi.
The domains are cooking now til the end of year. Atmospheric simulation, bidirectional MLT and physically aperture difraction (weak).

From linear tonemapped EXR to Nix Collection. For this exercise I explore the analogic part.

There are drawings and a short video. With all this I will made an instalation with a prepared area to take the actual pulse of the armonic relashionship between the human and the circle, described by the Troncotrón. I Personally take carefully measures of my self and I have great expectatives in the % that I will pick from this.

Please some feedback could be of great help, I´m in time...

Hi yonosoy, very nice images!

I think there's a little too much variety post production on them, especially if they're supposed to sit closely together like in that collage (the tone in the images could work better together). I don't think the vignetting adds very much to the images.

I also think the light leaks could be toned down a bit, and in the ocean image, I would maybe choose a light leak that matches the image better in terms of colour.

Keep it up :)

I love the fact that we see some kind of scale compared to the human body! Nice touch.
All in all they have a great tone..maybe a hint to strong, dunno. Experiment a bit with them.
Great stuff.

Thank you so much!

Finally this.

The harmonic relationship between the human and the circle has a number: 2,57424.... :)

A conceptual wip shot of the Sword of the Lord.
I go with two prints of 1 meter 300 ppi. This is the first.
Resized to 8000 px. 45 min.
La_Espada_del_Señor_conceptual.jpg
Searching for some critics until the deadline of january 10th.
I use bokeh and doble exposition, this camuflate very well the noise, but not sure of the external feeling.
Thanks in advance...

Edit with the second wip, 90 min at the moment. I can´t go to 300 ppi, 150 ppi 1 meter.

Well, done.
Is the first base :)

This is what I will print and present tomorrow, together with some drawings of yoS eidaN about Amazons (womens in Ciclopié).

Thanks again.
