Hey folks!
Just got myself a project I'd like to share with you guys, I'm still working on all the renders so I thought I'd post it in the WIP section. Title says it all, but actually it are 4 lofts, but each one of them has a slightly different execution for materials and style..
Here you have the first ones.. C&C are as always, welcome
Loft 1, contemporary
Cheers!

Howdy black / white tones!
I love the leather sofa in the 2nd image, it makes great realism, while the leaf affects it.
Also for the carpet

very nice images but i mess some stucco grain on walls, wood is too flat, looks like diffuse, stone is too flat too.
try to use bump and exponent map for your walls. curtains are repetetive and flat. What about using diffuse transmitter ? same for flowers, use DT for leaf and flower.
on 2nd image, curtain is intersecting with curtain holder. whyte acrylic material should be more glossy, carpet needs some bump/displacement.
also tonemapping is lil bit greenish. Are you using white env. color ? Try to use some HDRI with exit portals and better white balance.
anyway, great set of images, just few steps to make it better

Hey guys!
Project got finished on time and the client has a smile on it's face! Now it's your turn.
@ ninopiamonte, thanks! Got it from designconnected, first time I purchased something from them, their stuff is really good. Although SU has a lot of difficulties handling these.. I'd have to agree on the leafs and the carpet, tried some things with fur, but they didn't turn out too good. So had to stop and use a flat texture..
@ CTZn, thanks! Was quite a busy week! Had to model an additional 5 patio's in that same week
@ dcm, very useful info and textures! Thank you so much for it. I'm going to apply the changes to a few renders to make them look better for my portfolio.. The soft white gloss was on purpose though. If not all the images would look too much of the same.. Thanks again! I'll remake some renders and make sure to post them asap when done!
Here's the batch of completed renders for the client, I'd have to admit that somethings could've been improved a lot and the quality isn't consistent enough to my opinion.. But I'm still happy I got it all done in time
Cheers!
