texture dimension question

i'm starting to save some of my commonly used materials instead of setting each one up per model..

when i import the pigm via skindigo, the size is way off and i have to edit it to the proper scale (i use this grass texture for areas which are viewed from quite a distance away.. it should cover appox 600 sq. ft. before tiling but when i import it, the dimensions are 10" x 10" (100 sq inches)

is there a way i can set this pigm up so it comes in at the proper size?
