Post by ozzie » Wed Aug 20, 2008 2:20 am

I have a question: how to make a god looking curtain I'm trying to do it in blendigo 1.1.5 and render in indigo 1.1.9 and nothing... HOW TO DO IT BECAUSE I'M LOOSING MY MIND, indigo stops working on "how to make" (sorry for my English).

Yes, i've had decent results with cloth sim in blender this way:
blend of diffuse and diffuse transmitter, try 60/40 and go from there.

Displacement maps works like bump maps but instead of just changing the normals it actually moves the mesh.. see here : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Displacement.jpg
