I've been messing around with some materials available on the repository and I've found ISL quite a powerful tool, sadly I'm not a great expert. What I would like to do is have a random distribution of textures, and their uv position so I can have one material and having its distribution change in each object, so while retaining the same base they can have minor tweaks so they don't all look alike. I've found the Position-based bump shader quite neat, but sadly all the objects applied all look alike.
Can anyone help me?
Random changing the Position and textures of a material

Here you go, I made one for you: http://www.indigorenderer.com/materials/materials/1850
It varies the texture colour per object.

I've just committed a fix to make it work well with scattered objects btw.

Re: Random changing the Position and textures of a material
Thanks. that's quite a neat shader, although not exactly what I had in mind.
In the left that's your shader, on the right what I was aiming at... each has it's uv position randomly changed, which could be quite nice with stairs for example.Who is online
