[Advanced] ISL Material Help

Post by Originalplan® » Thu Dec 15, 2016 10:06 pm

Hey guys.

Is it possible to set up via ISL a layer that controls the incoming light of the material.
More exactly a two layer setup in which the top layer (layer1) allows light to pass thru 10º-40º and layer 2 allows light to pass thru 40º-90º.
Can this be done with clamp? Or other code?

If yes read further. If no...never mind.

Secondly is it possible for the above setup to have textures input in the same manner.
So textures would only be visible if they are receiving light in the above º??

Thank you!

This is an angle dependent paint. Not sure it's what you're looking for, but it could be a start. :)

Thanks Oscar!

Hmm...not quite what i'm looking for.
It also has to have something like an alpha parameter which let's the defined region pass thru on the defined º.
And i think it has to do so on Absorption Layer or Coating rather then just color.
