glass and shadows

hello

if glass is transparent or semitransparent why shadows is still the same but still too dark ?

i am rendering with open CL .

Probably you have to set the diffuse depth higher

i have value of 12
but glass is arch glass to be correct ...

arch glass is made to be faster, not more accurate. but try to improve the value until it compares with cpu I would suggest

but shadows is pretty simple to make or not ?

i am not asking for light bouncing inside of glass plate ...
