I have downloaded arrow textures, and every mat have 3 textures :
1. Difuse map (d100) -- This is normal map??? what is d100?
2. Bump map (d005) -- Bump map is 005 = 0.05m
3. Specular map (s050, g050) how???
I don't know how to use it properly, where to put SPECULAR MAP and how?? please help..
Thanks

Re: Arrow textures HELP
Hi.
DIFFUSE is the COLOR for indigo material.
Put the bump obviously in the bump map of indigo material, and set the intensity according to the texture size.
For the specular map, s050 is the specularity setting, g050 is the glossiness setting
If you put the map in the exponent, you can control the glossiness.
If you put the map in the fresnel scale, you can control the amount of specular intensity.
I think the numeric value is for max-vray setting...

Re: Arrow textures HELP
exponent channel, takrib.
Just make it much more contrasted: specular maps from arroway are good for vray settings, we need much contrast to work with them in Indigo.

Check this out tarikb: http://www.arroway-textures.com/en/faq/14#14n310
I also advise you to use the specular map in the FresnelScale chanel too, since here you actually control reflectivity.
In the exponent channel you only control the glossiness of the reflections!
