Applying Indigo Materials in Revit

I have been following the steps shown in the tutorial of rendering Revit scenes in Indigo yet when I apply a Indigo material to the existing revit model in the form of diffuse and bump images they fail to render in when exported to Indigo render and the revit material is used instead. It's as if the Indigo materials I select are just not being used and discarded. Am I doing some thing wrong or is the a solution to this?
