a) Which version of Indigo is this?
b) Which exporter version did you use?
c) Can you post a screenshot of the exporter when you have this exit portal material selected?

I managed to make it work. The scene didn't have any cut hole into the wall, and that;s why it didn,t work.

But i found another problem, i can't get instancing to work, i followed the tutorial for sketchup provided by this website about dummy instancing and i get no good result when rendering. see the picture.
i followed the indications step by step, but i don't get what is says to get.

is there a mistake or is something missing a step?

Hi Alex!
I don't really know the problem you're referring to, as I use Instancing all the time and it works reaffy fine.
Something may have changed through the times, though, so I'me here to give you a couple hints:

INSTANCING THE EASY WAY
Copy your COMPONENT/GROUP around in the model, select all the copies and the original, right-click and choose "activate Instancing". Done. You won't have ANY improvements inside SU, but instancing will be used inside Indigo (minor RAM usage).

INSTANCING THE BETTER WAY
Say you have a complex COMPONENT: say you named it "tree". Now create a new component, much simpler, say a box. The box' dimensions should be similar to the bounding box of the tree. Now, create a component of your box; name it "tree_dummy". Now you have TWO separate components: if you launch the render you will see that you'll have two identical trees, the box has been substituted with the origial tree model.
Now you may want to spread around many copies of your tree. Just right-click over "tree_dummy", select "enable instancing" and start copying around the boxes. You're done.
This way you save RAM inside Indigo AND your SketchUp navigation is much faster, since you can hide you original tree model and it will still be recognized as source object for all the "tree_dummy"s.
