Okay, let's try to be constructive now :)

The most important aspect right now is the home page: it lacks images for each group of specifications.

Compare:
Participating media and Sub-surface scattering

- Unbiased multiple scattering
- Wavelength dependent scattering and absorption coefficients
- Henyey-Greenstein, uniform, Rayleigh phase functions
- Atmospheric scattering model including Mie and Rayleigh scattering.
with:
Participating media and Sub-surface scattering

Image

- Unbiased multiple scattering
- Wavelength dependent scattering and absorption coefficients
- Henyey-Greenstein, uniform, Rayleigh phase functions
- Atmospheric scattering model including Mie and Rayleigh scattering.
Bigger images could be used; I suggest to use the best rated image of each corresponding category in the gallery to illustrate the home page. Or, everyone pick its fav image in the gallery for a feature category and link it here :)

edit: Then the three pics lost on top of page could be removed !

An easy one: IMO hyperlinks should have a different color compared to normal text

Good work,

A suggesiton: Change the font back to Verdana! Arial just does not have that same "professional" feel as Verdana. You'll notice that any website that has a "professional"/non-amatuer feel to it does not use Arial as their main font and most will steer clear of using Arial altogether.

I realise that the change to new software has ironed out some of the bugs with the forum, etc, but why change the layout, colour scheme, font type, etc, etc? If it works then don't mess with it, as they say; and IMO the old site works very, very well as far as the colour scheme & layout goes. Why change all this then? Fine, if you can can up with something better, then great but, if not, then leave it like it was. So i am either waiting to see 'something better' emerege out of this or see the old laout/scheme restored.

I'm still opting for the first 8)

I talked with Ono and he agrees with all of you - that I put the site up too early - so my apologies for that. I should have got he new site working as well as the old site before I put up the new version. I did this in too much of a hurry.

I will keep working on this site to improve it and get it as good as the old site. Please bear with us, and thanks for your loyalty to Indigo. :|

admitted. i also have to say that over-all i like the new site. sure, there are a few things that really need to be fixed.

for example, some crucial forum links are missing:

pm inbox,
user control panel,
userlist,
forum search

I am off to do other indigo work - but I will put back in the features you listed Fused - it's just a case of me not knowing how the menus work was why they are missing. :)

Yes i can see the site is much faster and for this reason is good work....you could use this type of format but much colored.....in this way, as already said also other users, is too minimalist... ;)
ciao
Luca.
