I sent you a private message.

It would be great if we could upload the images directly to dropbox.
Due to the residual noise the PNG compression is not too effective and the Image size is 22MB, exceeding the size I can send with my iCloud account.

Hello Polinalkrimizei, you could start rendering the 251_2?

I'm beging 114210259_2

it remains 114210252_4
which can compute it?

I have started it (4200x3200, bidir).

I am assuming that you mean "beginning", not "beging" (mendier). Either what I picked the wrong file to render...

I'm a work right now (3D is just a hobby to me as you might have noticed  ) and won't be able to start until the evening. I'll do an overnight render until Friday if that helps...

How do I send the first pic? It reached something like 1300 SSP I think and as headroom pointed out, it is 22MB. I could just post my dropbox-link tonight.
Did anybody have the chance yet to compare GPU path tracing vs. BiDir?

After 6h hours and 300spp I'm realizing that

Code: Select all

Saving tone-mapped PNG to 'C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\Indigo Renderer\renders\im1374129097.png'
Warning: ImFormatExcep: LibPNG error: Write Error
Saving Indigo image (.igi) to 'C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\Indigo Renderer\renders\im1374129097.igi'
WARNING: Failed to save IGI: Error while writing IGI to file: Write to file failed.
and I killed the render, sorry. My pc is way too borderline, swapping to disk to update the render and not dumping a thing.

y'a pas de png, il a rien put écrire depuis les premiers samples.

Mon disque est plein mais je ne m'attendais pas à ça. Je voulais pas passer pour un trouduc et t'aider et au final c'est pire... désolé.

edit: only the first png save attempt worked, it's a 2mn render at that point. The next Igi attempt messed the rest up. Also my PC hitting beyond the 8GB RAM limit and swapping to disk is a good excuse not to contribute, I even quitted explorer.exe for the whole render. Too extreme, I wasn't prepared.

C'est des choses qui arrivent tu n'y peux rien
Ne t'inquiètes pas je vais tenter de lancer le rendu sur ma machine une fois que j'aurais terminé le précédent.
