Here's some AD effects for you guys. Share yours if they are worthy of being shared.
These haven't really been tested in a proper scene.
A higher f-stop/smaller film width will increase the diffraction effect, but blur the image more.

Here's a sharpness test from sharp to blurry. Settings are in filename: sharpnesstest_ad-state_f#_blur_ring.png

Post process will give you an instant noise free effect, but the cons are slow image update, no glare perspective, cuts off at a certain size.
Bidir must be enabled.

Energizer
35mm film, f/64, Agfapan APX 100
Use http://www.home.no/faenskap/3d/obstacle ... er_f32.png for f/32 and lower.

Thank you dag! What an useful thread you started! I was playing with apertures, diffractions and obstacle maps just yesterday: I rarely use them to save some RAM so I'me pretty new to this and still have loads to learn. Would be interesting if others shared their maps and tests too. Very informative. Thank you!
