Hello, I am trying to render the following hang up bag:

But, I am not the best when it comes to rendering, I am trying to apply gloss to the transparent bag but failing.

I have tried editing material in SketchUp to no avail. I believe IndigoRt would rightly be more adept at reflections/gloss. Thus, was wondering if a kind soul could help provide myself with pointers/advice on how to best achieve a glossy look for the transparent bag part.

A phong material should sufice, then mess with exponent to your taste. IOR will give you more or lessreflextion.

You can mess with the glossiness and material parameters all you want, if you don't get the lighting right, it will still look completely dead. You need to create light sources for the plastic to reflect. What lighting are you currently using?

Hi Pixie, thank you for the reply shall look at the Phong material.

Hi Oscar, I believe SketchUp only has the sun as a light source so that'd be the only one being used.
