SkIndigo 2.2.12 (2.2 stable) was quietly released shortly after the release of Indigo 2.2 stable.

You can pick it up at the Indigo SketchUp page.

#Version 2.2.12

#Fixed: material editor not opening in rare situations
#Fixed: IGM loading of absorption layer transmittance parameter
#Changed: improved material preview scenes

What's new in SkIndigo 2.2?

Please let me know if you find any bugs!

Enjoy!

hmmm....I don't remember every change (it was a long time ago) but here are some:
- fixed a lot of things in the official Indigo preview scene (See this thread)
- changed all scenes to consistent camera tonemapping (should help make the same material look the same in all preview scenes)
- re-balanced preview scene lighting for better previewing of emitting materials

Cannot run indigo on mac osx because it wants me to locate indigo.app wich is nowhere to be found in the downloaded items. trough SkIndigo-2.2.12.zip or ist unzipped result.

SkIndigo and Indigo are separate downloads. You need them both.

So I did and installed it in the plugin folder and then replaced it to the Applications folder as suggesteted in one of the forum-articles, but still the same question for indigo.app when starting Sketchup.

Hi there!
I think there should be a little problem concerning the scale between mat preview and actual render, see images attached.

Is this solvable?

I think it's just a UV issue, the MDB model has just one full UV stretched over the whole thing. For the preview you can either crop your texture a quarter of the size, or somehow edit the UVs of the MDB model.

Hi Soup!
I was not referring to the scale of the texture, sorry for not having made it clearer.
I was concerning about the strength of the displacement: preview and rendered material are quite different, and the displace value is 0.006 (meters) for both. So I assume that there is some problems about the strength of the displacement map in the preview scene. That's it.
