Awesome work Whaat! :D

Out of curiosity, did you implement support to write shaders already?

Of course it is easy enough to open an editor write a shader and then
include this one while edit it. Maybe it would be a nice addition tho.
Then you could do something like on a message board with bbcode
nowadays. Click your shader together or something like that. Like
the most people I'm not into shader writing but love the advantage
of them ... hehe. Just an idea for later ...

And another question. Is it possible to browse the matDB through
categories like in the 3dsmax plugin or do I need to do a search?

nb: I'm not a SketchUp user just interested. ;o))

take care

Thanks for the positive feedback! I don't enjoy writing UI stuff but your comments help make it feel worthwhile! Also, much thanks to ben for all the css and database seraching help!

@psor:
I have implemented shader support (a long time ago) but only as a text box that you manually enter the code. Shaders will become more accessible in the future for non-coders. I don't know about bbcode, but I think you will be happy with what's being planned. :wink:

Also, you currently can't click on categories to do a search. You have to enter it in manually.

Yeah..that's a good idea, but I should make sure that there are no plans to change the limit
