SkIndigo 2.0.12c (Updated 26 Aug 09)
Re: SkIndigo 2.0.12
Tried SkIndigo_2_0_11b.zip but that gave some win32 error when I started Sketchup.
Tried SkIndigo_2_0_10b.zip and it appears to work! I guess using SkIndigo_2_0_10b.zip with the latest stable Indigo build may introduce some other problems but at least I can start rendering something.

Re: SkIndigo 2.0.12
Hi Whaat,
my sketchup only accepts the plugin, when I run as admin. Is this intended, or just my installation?
Thanks for your great work on the plugin, by the way.

Are you running Mac of PC?
Re: SkIndigo 2.0.12
PC, vista 64...I have to run sketchup as admin to make it work. So, I went back to 2.0.10 and it works flawlessly.

What specific error messages would you get when running 2.0.12? Anything in the Ruby Console?CHF wrote:PC, vista 64...I have to run sketchup as admin to make it work. So, I went back to 2.0.10 and it works flawlessly.

Re: SkIndigo 2.0.12
"Error Loading File skindigo.rb
The system can not find the specified file."
So no console output, as this comes up before any console can be reached.
Second part is translated from german, so it is probably different as an english error message.
When I start Sketchup as an admin it works. For me, it seems somehow connected to user rights.
I have had a similar issue in blendigo, which I tried out today, and had an issue when trying to render. It seems not to find indigo correctly in the systempath. Perhaps this is a relating issue and it is the install process of indigo, rahter than the plugins.
As said before, it works fine with skindigo 2.1.10.

Re: SkIndigo 2.0.12
This bug was caused by SkIndigo not being able to find Indigo.app in the normal location (Applications). It should be fixed in the new version 2.0.12b (see first post)mreeves wrote:Installed SkIndigo for the first time and when I then start up Sketchup I get the following error:
-----
Error Loading File skindigo.rb
stack level too deep
-----
Running Mac 10.5.8 and using SkIndigo 2.0.12 with SketchUp 7 (7.0.8656)
I tried removing other plugins but that did not help.
Any ideas on how to fix it?

For Skindigo can you add a scroll control to the 'Query Material Types' dialog. I'm unable to look at or size the dialog for material lists longer than your screen.
Thanks

Re: SkIndigo 2.0.12
Hey I've just upgraded to latest indigo and skindigo 2.0.12 so I can carry out network rendering but for some reason can't get a render started at all. I'm sure its something simple, here is the error message:
Error: SceneLoaderExcep: ModelLoadingStreamHandlerExcep: UV set with index 1 was exposed, but the UV set data was not provided. (In element 'mesh', around line 3, column 9)
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
Also, I can load IGS files in the console and they work, but cant export from sketchup (not sure if thats relevant)

Re: SkIndigo 2.0.12
The new installer is great.. Getting everything up to speed, including the previews, with out any issues has never been easier.
Maybe in a future version :
-Pause/resume toggle button for the material previews
-A slider that lets you set the number of spp that it renders to...

Re: SkIndigo 2.0.12
A render farm requires files in 1.1.18 version of indigo, if i export with skindigo 2.0.12 will they be compatible?

Re: SkIndigo 2.0.12
If you don't use Environment lighting, they should be compatible. Otherwise, you will have to hand-edit the IGS file to remove the sun layer and sky layer properties. Also, motion blur won't work in 1.1.18. Try it and let me know if you get any errors. Don't send anything to the render farm unless you've already tested it locally with version 1.1.18ashscott wrote:A render farm requires files in 1.1.18 version of indigo, if i export with skindigo 2.0.12 will they be compatible?
