Render resolution

There seems to be a little discrepancy between skindigo and the newer versions of indigo. The skindigo resolution options determine what region of your scene you would like to render. In effect, they serve as cropping tools. The newer versions of indigo merely render your whole scene but scale down the resulting image. It would nice if both of these options could be offered in the preferences menu.

my renders from indigo and my sketchup/skindigo resolution settings match fine. how are you encountering difficulties or differences?

Well, okay, to clarify. SKindigos current res settings crop your render.. I would also like to see an option to change resolution of the render without affecting the render region.. There could be a little check box that says "preserve aspect ratio" and when you increase the height or the width, the other one changes accordingly.
