shift lens isn't supported in indigo 1.0.9.3 ... that was added in version 1.1.1.

*edit* you should really match indigo to skindigo by version number to ensure feature support.

Don't know why it happens, but I get this Indigo error with a scene containing 4 emitting materials :

Image

As a note: the scene was set up with a previous Skindigo/Indigo version.
Is the new version backwards compatible or do I need to set up things from scratch?

Can you email me the scene please.

Instances work fine. The bug that was causing the error is now fixed in Indigo 1.1.9.

SkIndigo 1.1.8 will work with Indigo 1.1.9. Let's see some layer blending!! :)
Sure ... as soon as I figured out how it works. Give us a month or so, eh?

Hi Ono,

I sent you the file.
Since the scene was set up with a previous Skindigo version, I was thinking that the hugh power values I entered for emiting materials caused it so I lowered them.

I didn't get the same error message after that.
However a new one popped up :):

This error is probably more related to Skindigo as to Indigo itself?
As a note: one of the emitting materials has a texture.

When trying animation 1.1.9 on another scene, I can also confirm that indeed it renders only first frame .
Only by killing the rendering, second frame will start to render.
Indigo doesn't seem to take the halt time into account.

It seems that Indigo is crashing when I try to use the "Sphere" preview.

also, if anyone could point me to a thread explaining the "Base emission" and "Emission" values, that would be great. (or explain it here)

lots of new stuff to learn...... (I'm not even going to touch Shaders yet)

oh, and what is the purpose of the color picker?

sphere preview works ok for me on indigo119 and skindigo118

*edit* as for the animation issue, it appears indigo completes the halt time, starts to quit, saves the final image, terminates the render threads, then stops ... BUT the indigo window doesn't close and so the CMD prompt which is waiting for indigo to come back never gets the go ahead for the next frame ... once i close the indigo window, the next frame rendering begins.

i guess indigo having the pause/stop/resume features has killed the /wait in the CMD window ...?

Getting this error when trying to use a displace map. Tried with just a basic diffuse and with Phong.

The preview works though-

Have you applied a texture to the SketchUp material and is the material applied to a face? Otherwise, no UV sets will be exported and you will get this error message.

ahh, so it has to be a type of material, not just a sketchup color? I was trying to use the displacement map on just a color applied from within sketchup.

Read the first post :P There's lots of stuff that's currently broken including diffuse transmitters. If you want a stable working version, use 1.0.9. If you want to help test the new features of Indigo and SkIndigo, keep using 1.1.8 but don't expect everything to work. :)
