yeah, I really want to play with the displacement stuff, that looks great.

(I know I can manually add it, but I don't know how)

Thanks!!

This is probably me missing something, but heres what happened :
1) Needed an NK metal, so I guess what the filename is.
2) When I clicked export skindigo gave me an error than indigo itself gave me a second error message
3) I clicked on the material to revise the NK data, but skindigo had forgotten what material settings I had assigned to the su material.
4) However, it still complained about the bad nk value, and it wouldnt let me render.

This is probably the source of the error. You have two options:
1) select the nkdata from the list of presets.
2) click the button beside the nkdata path to browse for the nkdata file

If these two choices don't work, there could be a problem.

How would I go about changing the color of the glass preset?

Can't get started!

Post by jd211 » Sat Jul 12, 2008 5:21 pm

Hello all! I want to start learning indigo render for sketchup pro for architecture school in the fall, but can't get it to load. I followed the instructions that were in the forum on how to load it, but when I open sketchup it ask to find the .exe file. What is this? When I then hit cancel, a message comes up saying it can't find the .rb file. Help please?

Welcome Jd211,

Please read the installation note carefully at the top of this thread.
Did you download the main Indigo program itself? (which is to be found in the download section of this forum). It has the needed .exe.

The .rb file is in the Skindigo download.
