Material Editor Bug

Hi everyone,
I've been trying indigo renderer and I like it a lot so far. It's simple to use and has good results.
Recently I started working on a project in sketchup and added indigo materials, they looked great and I was happy.
However the material editor stopped working now. I recorded my screen so you can see for yourself.
Basically the problem is that the material editor won't open anymore. I click on the icon in the toolbar or go through the extensions menu but neither will work, nothing happens. The strange thing about it is, that it only happens in that specific project. If i open a different one, it works again. So what could be the reason? I tried downloading indigo again and reinstalling the Sketchup Plugin. Any help would be gladly appreciated.
I have a Macbook Pro with OS X 10.12 and Sketchup Pro 2018.
