Hi all - I'm having a problem with geo-locating my latest model in sketchup. Having set the new location (exporting the sun's position thorugh Skindigo) the rendering speed drops precipitously, by about 75%. Doesn't matter what the sun's actual position is, or indeed if it is a night-time image, the render speed is still down by about 3/4 compared to the non-geolocated model.
I delete the aerial map and elevations that appear when you geolocate before I render - they should have no influence on model complexity and speed. It seems very weird. I have repeated the steps, same issue.
Anyone experienced anything similar - suggestions?
Thanks guys
