(Skindigo) Optimizing objects for scattering

Does Anyone know how to optimize objects or materials for scattering in skindigo

Not entirely but i have learned not to scatter components with too many sub-groups or sub-component instances. eg if you're scattering trees, don't make every leaf a component..explode it first.

I haven't tested this thoroughly but would be very interested in any info you can find out so please report back if you run any tests :)
