I suppose it's a no, although skatter's website claims to be supported by all render engines. For generating components that is...

I'm going to explain it the way I understand it

you will be able to render the Skatter generated objects with Indigo, however it will not be optimized as it is with certain other rendering engines

what happens with the optimization is that the objects are "skattered" but not directly transferred into SketchUp, the information gets passed onto the rendering engine about the object distribution etc.

if a rendering engine is used that hasn't been optmized then you can get Skatter to show the objects in SketchUp and the info will be passed along using the rendering engine exporter, but this would tax your hardware and SketchUp session, possibly causing something (SketchUp) to fail, and thus your rendering as well

Ok it's all clear now. Any thoughts of the Indigo team to include this feature now that it's released? Let's hope and support so.
