Tree leaves

Hi the guys ...i have a question ....

What is the procedure in Skindigo to achieve that light effect on tree leaves?.That effect where some parts of a surface seems to absorb the light (Like in the image attached...Well first off...is that possible to achieve with Indigo? :?

Of course! You need the double-sided thin material and a greyscale texture-map for the translucency.
You checked out Ono's leaf material in the MatDB?

Hi !
No, i haven't. I will take a look at the material right now ! :D ( I guide would be really helpfull ..i am totally lost with the indigo's material creation :( )

I think that effect increase a lot the realism in the renderings , so i really want to learn how to make it 8)

In Skindigo, you will want to use the 'simple thin' material.
It converts to a double-sided thin material in Indigo.

Hey Thx ! I never thought it was that simple (unless i'am doing someting wrong :roll: ) . I only changed the "pong / specular" for "Simple Thin "..... Was that what you meant that i do Ono ?

01 Only Pong /diffuse and a map applied.
