SU 2015 released

Post by Juju » Wed Nov 05, 2014 3:01 am

I think most would have heard that SU 2015 (Make and Pro) was released yesterday.

SU 2015 is now available in 64-bit (Win + OSX) and 32-bit (Win only), but there seem to be a few teething problems, some plugins do not work with the 64-bit version.

Has anybody tried it with Indigo and can confirm compatibility?

Just tried it, seems to work fine.
We will need to update the Windows installer to detect SketchUp 2015, I'll make a new release for that soon.

Hi Alejando,

Looking at the error message in the screenshot you posted, it seems that your Indigo version is 3.6.28, and you need version 3.8.11 or greater in order to use that version of SkIndigo (the Indigo plugin for SketchUp).

Please upgrade your copy of Indigo, which you can find right here on the forum: http://www.indigorenderer.com/forum/vie ... =1&t=13326

Problem solved. When downloading the licensed version, it downloaded 3.6.28... Now everything works. Thank you all very much for your help.

Kind regards,

Alejandro

I understand Trimble has released SketchUp 2015 Maintenance 1.

Go get it from the downloads page.

Hi elDiego,

You need to reinstall Indigo (or at least the Skindigo exporter and point it to Indigo external renderer program).

ON ANOTHER NOTE:
SketchUp 2015 is up to maintenance release 3 already. Links as previously in this thread.
