Hi ak-sam, in your last test scene the light is coming from behind the camera, that's not the best setting to appreciate a translucent shader !

Bumping this thread because its 4 years old and we don't have any presets or "save scatter formula" options yet......are these coming soon? Surely not too hard to implement. Other renderers are now way ahead in this area.
