Hello,

This is just a small update to try and fix some WIN32OLE problems some people are encountering.

This is a beta release - please test. Please install Indigo 3.6.23 before this version. Get it from here: http://www.indigorenderer.com/forum/vie ... =1&t=12606

To Install:
1) Download RBZ file from link below
2) In SketchUp, go to Window->Preferences->Extensions
3) Uncheck the SkIndigo checkbox, press OK, restart SketchUp
4) In SketchUp, go to Window->Preferences->Extensions->Install Extension
5) Select the RBZ file you downloaded
6) Check the SkIndigo checkbox again.
7) Restart Sketchup again.

NOTE: this elaborate process is to make sure the asset files get updated properly, which doesn't work if the extension is enabled.

Changelog:

#Version 3.6.23

#Added backup means of launching Indigo if WIN32OLE method fails.

sorry, just noticed the Version 3.6.21.3 ChangeLog item: "#Removed simple UI material editor mode"

ok, now I understand the UI button removal, but all I can see are the settings from the old Simple UI Mode - ... how can I access the more 'technical' settings from the old Normal UI Mode ... eg. Blend materials, Emitter Attributes etc

many thanks

Hi Mike,
Sounds like your scene is stuck in simple UI mode, sorry about that!
We'll have a fixed version of SkIndigo out ASAP that fixes this.

sorry for the topic bump (given the 3.6.25 release:) but, thanks Ono! - fixed*

Love being now able to experiment with double-sided thin materials ... this is going to be an amazing feature addition for the landscape visualization I do.

*ps -- great to have complete control over materials back - but miss the quickness and intuitive ease of the Roughness and Reflection sliders from the 'old' Simple UI.
