how to setup a plastic (phong) with the exporter

Hi all,

I wanted to ask what would be good settings for plastic material.
In my renderings the colour always get's desaturated.

Try using a very low specular value of 0.02 and an exponent of about 200 for a dull plastic look. Crank up the exponent (try 1000) if you want it to look more glossy. I'm not an expert on Indigo materials though. This is just my opinion.

Don't forget that your colors may be getting desaturated due to the lack of reverse gamma correction. This will be fixed with the official release.

I am working on a sample scene and possibly a tutorial to show how to set up basic materials such as hardwood flooring, tile, leather, carpet, plastic, ceramics, lights, and mirrors in Sketchup using SkIndigo. It will be released at the same time as the official SkIndigo release.
