Suggestion: Skindigo Scatter?

Hey Whaat, I'm wondering if it would be possible to make something like the Maxigo scatter option in Skindigo? This might be a stupid question because SU is so limited in polycount, but maybe a smart workflow using proxies etc might help. Just a suggestion.

Don't stop tinkering about it! Place a "donate" button when you added this option.. :mrgreen:
And I really bump the external SKP option, if possible this would also be great for proxies, so we don't have to wait 2 mins everytime we save big files.

External meshes (OBJ or 3DS) are planned for the next major update of SkIndigo (likely 3.0).

External SKP is a bit tricky. Probably the best way to do this would be with the SketchUp SDK which I am completely unfamiliar with.

Wow .3ds and .obj meshes seem terrific! I hope you'll find a good workaround for the material setup though.
