Very nice! You've got the installation process down-pat. It is so painless to install these releases!

<3

Does this mean we can get rid of that nasty Thin Glass yet?

Thanks Whaat for doing great job!

Is there any chance to get rid of the displacement bug in further relaeses?

No, there were no big fixes in this release. My TODO list is huge. Were there any other bugs that you were especially concerned about?

I am starting to ramp up SkIndigo development again so you can expect new updates more regularly.

Please let me know what are the highest priority bugs/issues to fix.

Nothing in particular, to tell the truth.. I simply remember that saving "to scene" had some issues, so I was wondering if you fixed them, that's all. I sort of had urgent works to do lately, so I preferred not to risk to mess something up trying to use the feature.

I have a side question for you though: how can I import galinette's procedural stained glass material? I tried to but it seems I can't... :?

BTW, there IS something I would like to see developed: something concerning the mat preview. Two things basically:
1. A preview scene that is scaled in meters, so the bump map I see is the real one in most arch scenes (modeled in meters)
2. (optional, less important) Easily customizeable preview scenes

Im having a problem. I have a textured oren nayor material and whenever I click on the thumbnail in the su materials panel, skindigo resets all the material properties to "constant" or just sets the material to diffuse. Wtf is going on.

EDIT : The problem seems to only be with TGA textures. I switched over to jpeg and things were back to normal.

Hi Whaat.
Maybe I've spotted a little bug: SSS color picker for RGB spectrum doesn't work properly. Whatever is the selected colour, it won't be saved when you exit the window.

I need further investigation, btw: I've nevere been into SSS too much, and I have to learn how it works.
This is a small test with uniform scattering, value 40. Are there any limits to value?

Sorry Whaat: I'd like to bump one of my past requests about light layers.

When you set a light colour in SketchUp, it's not preserved when exported in Indigo. I mean, the colour of the light is right, but does not match the RGB value Indigo reports. That is a little puzzleing..

Same thing if you use Temperature instead of RGB value.

You can have different colored lights on the same layer and envmaps with lots of colors, so what should indigo report then? Not an exporter problem.
Why default light layer color is pinkish instead of 1,1,1 I have no idea.

You are right about layers with multiple lights inside. ..
But often I group light based on their colour and/or temp values (eg. all the neons together, all the leds together, all the spotlights together and so on..), and I think that is the correct way to handle the scene for archviz.
If you think this way, if you have set neons to be 6000K and find that in the Indigo GUI they're 5000K.. well.. that's something odd indeed.

I'm only asking for some correspondance, if possible.
I set 4500K? Indigo opens and tells me 4500K
I set RGB 240 215 167? indigo opens and tells me RGB 240 215 167

Layers with multiple light settings could either be a default value or an arithmetic mean.

These are only thoughts and suggestions, btw, dag: not arguing at all. I suggest to make Indigo (and SkIndigo) more cool 8)
