in Spanish ¨Modernismo¨ and ¨Moderno¨ is diferente.
I think that's what i was talking about in the first place. (Modernism vs modernity as in modern architecture).
So we've got Modernism, Modernity, "Modernismo", and modern architecture, each meaning different thing.
I don't want to in any way understate anybody's entry, but clear things up.

Slightly off topic but are we allowed to post our submissions elsewhere (ex: deviantart, blenderartists, ... ) ?

Unfortunately I was unable to spend as much time as I would have liked to on this as I moved overseas to Switzerland one week into this project. Though it is incomplete, I did not want the concept to go to waste so I have simply refined what I could in order to show it. Unfortunately to meet the render time on 3 networked laptops, I was forced to reduce the quality by removing many of the props of what I had although, the overall concept remains.

Version of Indigo used: 2.2.12
Rendering time / CPUs: 24 Hours / 1.76GHz U4100, 2.66GHz, and Core 2 Duo, 2.26GHz
List of tools used: Blender, Photoshop, The skyline is not my own, I do not know where it is from.

Hey Kristof we'll give all time zones a chance, so submit by the end of the 31st of August (in any time zone) and that'll be okay :)

Rendering time / CPUs: 3d Image 20 h,2d Image 10h/Core 2 Quad Q8200 @2,33GHz
List of tools used (and external artwork, with links):
Sketchup 7.1, Blender 2.49b ( to make the tablecloth)
Gimp ( to create a 3d image), Only the branch is from 3D Warehouse.
All other objects are homemade. I used homemade textures and textures from cg textures.

The structure rendered is a proposed extension of the dining area of an imaginary old resort hotel. I was not able to model the building and just decided to just show the extension.

Wicked structure! I love it. The trees look amazing.
