how to?

Post by Reaversword » Thu Jan 31, 2008 12:49 am

Hi, I'm new in Indigo community. I'm Maya user.
I've been trying install indigo in 8.5 version, and I've get install it, but the 4th button, the exit portals button don't appear me, and when I invoke the material editor, and error pop up with "couldn't find mtimaterial editor".

For the last, I have try the last release of 23-01-2008. But then, when i open Maya and run mti_Main, gets me an error with "no mti_Main found".

I'm doing something wrong?
I should use Indigo 0.91, shouldn`t I?

I don't know if with all versions of all distributed for the web i'm doing something wrong.

Please, can anyone post the links to the newest & stable versions of all files needed?. Thanks for all

The 23rd Jan MtI release is designed for Indigo 1.0.6.

Indigo 1.0.6:

MtI 1.0.6:

You should use the revision 200 version that I released today if you're intersted in Exit portals. It's broken in previous releases.

Finally, I made some tutorial videos on how to set it up properly:
#1 http://www.indigorenderer.com/joomla/fo ... php?t=3123
#2 http://www.indigorenderer.com/joomla/fo ... php?t=3141

Hope that helps.

Ya, ... every coder should have the right to make "sticky" posts in his
sub forum. You guys should ask Nik about this, it's so easy to do ... ;)

take care

I did pop into the IRC earlier. Apparently I missed Nick by about half an hour. I'll ask tomorrow.
