... o.k. let's keep this small and simple:

[it works, hehehe]

CTZn, it would be cool if you would find the time to make some presets that are equivalent to dusty air, water, steel, and white plastic, so that people can toy around with the materials inside (the Blinn-Implementation you made seem to work pretty neat).

Attached is my final update for Arne, i've added simple buttons to access the main functions and fixed some bugs, started with a hint.txt, and somesuch.

regards :wink:

Ok, I can do that :)

Thx, but it's a bit messy to find out wich parameters in Maya are correlated to Indigo when translated.

I gotta check if the last version I posted matches with the actual one I have, if not I'll post it here. And I have to create a list of changes from scratch since I did that not when I should (lack of experience).

:D

.refractionLimit = <precedence>
.refractiveIndex = <ior>
.surfaceThickness /10 =<cauchy_b_coeff>
1-(.transparency[1-3]) = <absorption_coefficient_spectrum> [r,g,b]
.lightAbsorbance = </scattering_coefficient_spectrum>
.translucenceFocus = <henyey_greenstein>

.transparency = true or false

Me too (though I once said the contrary), but unlike you ThatDude33 I must apology for that false flag I gave to everyone here; I was sincere but time has not come for me yet, I've been trying too hard ouch :x

Now, I'm an humble artist wanabee !!! But I'm still excited when I come to think about an official announce for MTI worldwide, man (oooops) that will be great for sure !!! For now please consider my weak contribution as null, that's justice I think. My nick should not appear on any part of the scripts for now.

your truly, perturbed CTZn 8)

oh, i see... it's late; brain, eyes... not really working properly.

Yes, we're all waiting for YOU before we can move on ... :D ;)

(well, no, not really. I guess I can do work on the docs while you work on mtiEdi).

Hows progress with mtiEdi ? Do you have an estimate of % completion ?

The last two sentences leave me no hope, I have real pressure onto my shoulders... should I pull the plug now or...

kidding :mrgreen: well I was starting a new session and realised I was wrong to remove mti_Main call, it's -dc 1 even if node exists.

good night m8, I'm up for now.
