ok, the plugin loads in maya 2016 but unfortunately pointless, it doesn't create a render node when you set indigo in the render settings and then you cannot even create an indigo shader and also not gpu.. tooo bad, i wish a maya plug would be available.

What I have been doing is setting up my scene's in maya and using alembic to move everything over to c4d which seems to have the best indigo integration. But I agree a decent maya indigo plug-in would be amazing.

yes fourzeronine,
that is what i'm doing too, but all my normals modifiers seems to behave strangely once the file is loaded in c4d, do you have the same issues? all my smooth normals are kinda broken (i'm working with cad files translated to poly).
what i was doing is doing the link with obj or fbx but maybe alembic is better, i'm gonna try that.

alembic seems to work well. my normals always come over properly. just make sure you click the options box and scroll down and select all the check boxes you need, like UV's and world space.

just a question, how do you manage with abc files to apply materials on different faces selections made in maya?
