Cool thanks, so far I could do an un-shaded render, that part with the Render View works.

As a workaround you can create the shaders by hand and connect them.
e.g. with mel command:

createNode "inDiffuse";

Then you can assing it to the geomety as usual.

Does this work with Mac? Trying to install it on Maya 2016, but it refuses to acknowledge the .mod file.

For what I can tell it wouldn't work on Mac; mll files and the Indigo SDK shipped with are Windows dynamic libraries. The Mac format for them would be *.so.

Have the 'Script Editor' opened, you should be able to learn more about the error. It's a generic Maya tip, that will not help you there.

The other MtI I did was not tested on Mac, at least its MEL installer will not work for you, that must be done manually. Then, I can not guarantee results at all :/

The two exporters may coexist, using the same display name for the renderer in two instances.

Installation off your .mel file did work actually, and I got the interface inside Maya to work. But export failed completely, and since its so outdated as well I kinda gave up the idea of using it. A shame this one doesn't work either - I have started doing some of my modelling in Alias, which works good together with Maya. Oh well.

I'm kind of curious on what step is causing an error on Mac, if you are still around this I wouldn't mind the Script Editor output PM'ed (you may edit it if you want).

Going here:
http://openmaya.net/openmaya/mayatoindi ... wnload.php

File is missing.
Please correct this, I would like to test latest version.

Another thing, haggi, can you leave instructions on how to compile the plugin?
Or anybody?
CTZn?
