Well, i sent a mail to BL asking about the plug-in and his intention for the future. He is very sorry, but unfortunatly he has no free time to spent on the development of the plug-in since he is full of work.

But there's a good new too: he is disposed to share sources. He will share them here or in his website.

He asked me to thank all the comunity and to greet everyone.

mrmoose :D

Nice first posting dude

In fact the C4D Exporter 0.57.9 for Indigo 0.6 test 1 has some bugs LINK.
But I'm sure you just started asking before thinking
(or even check the Readme.txt of the Exporter)...
its not compatible with newer versions of Indigo where XML structure changed etc.

finaly this Exporter you called f#™k was programmed by BlackLizard in his free time to contribute for Indigo,
I don't think this work has deserved such comments from somebody that only wants a unbaised rendering package that is perfectly working for free...

please feel kicked in your ass!

OK, no problemo... got it!

So welcome to the Forum, have a nice stay

If you want to want to try Indigo 0.7 you'll have to export from C4D and manually edit XML
(thats what I'm doing, but impossible for complex Scenes!),
or perhaps invest a few hours watching some Blender Video Tutorials how to apply Textures, light etc. and do your export-to-indigo work using Blender...

btw, i found one possible source of some cinema4d specific problems: the .3ds exporter of c4d is a little buggy, sometimes you get weird meshes with disordered normals...

interesting... something reproducible, or just random?

If someday further developed, exporting to .obj would work around such a bug

no, its totally random, but i had that problem before on several other occasions...normally i try to use .fbx instead, but .obj also sounds good to me :D
