Thank fused, I'll post the scene as soon as I get home so you or any one else can play with it, it's just cinema's hair. :)

i was implementing the background material and i was wondering,
how would you guys like it better:

- all relevant settings in the render settings object
- a link to a material defined in a mat helper

?

I didn't quite get it, could you please explain it better?

hihi, it should say "background material" instead of "material helper" XD

Perhaps it should be a material as any but when applied to the cinema's sky object it wold then become "background material tag"

The scene crashes whenever I try to work on a given material

Hey pixie, can you tell me what material crashes when you work with it? the only problem I had with your scene was with the missing textures applied to the floor material.

all were crashing I think... I'll post you the textures once at work

Hello to all, with the pixie file I have the same problem I had with my file. Cinema is blocked by calling the Microsoft Visual C + + Library.

At this point I think in my case the problem is the operating system or driver. :(

There's an introduced discrepancy between viewport and the final render that is also induced into Cinema own rendering system.

From what I gathered it has to do with the ratio... I also have to manually change it on cinema and all is good

Yep, just click on the Indigo Camera Tag once and the ratio will change :)
That's my workaround for this bug... never bothered to report it though... sorry fused
